Conclusion

Using geizhals as our price research tool, we find that offers for 4x4GB sets of 2800C12 Core Series start at 233 Euros excluding shipping across the EU. Finding another kit, which shares the same specs, turns out to be quite difficult. In fact, there is only one kit, the Dominator Platinum from Corsair. If you then compare prices you're going to see that Corsair sells their kit for twice as much, 465 Euros.

Therefore AVEXIR's memory kit is very cheap compared to competing products. Heatspreaders are simple but with LEDs, manufacturing quality is good and the ICs used are super high binned. The only real contra that we found is regarding the scaling that stops at 1.65v.
Well done AVEXIR, you have by far the best performance/price ratio.

Pro:

  • Design
  • Wolrd Record memory
  • IC quality
  • LEDs
  • Height (3.6cm)
  • Price

  • Con:
  • Voltage scaling

  • Rating

The AVEXIR Core Series AVD3U28001204G-4CI kit receives the rating of 5 out of five stars.
