Conclusion

General + -
The build quality of the Gamdias ZEUS is excellent. Plastic parts match perfectly and they are also high quality, if you for example take it in you hand and squeeze it firmly you will not hear any creaking noises. The USB cable as well as the connector are of excellent quality. In this case, you get a sleeved cable and gold-plated plug. The package is very good and we like the three extra padsurfers.   - Weight

Performance / Ergonomics   + -
The Avago ADNS-9800 is a very good laser sensor with the maximum resolution of 8200 DPI, which is enough for any kind of gamer. Despite the good quality of the sensor and of padsurfers, the smoothness could be improved. The ergonomics of the mouse is very subjective, in our case, we noticed an excessive hand fatigue due to a crest on the top of the mouse. Also the layout of the buttons is not very comfortable especially for those located on the upper part.
We like the coating, which feels soft and comfortable. There is also the possibility to adjust the weight and shape to suit your needs. Despite the adjustable side panels are tool-less, they require much time to be adjusted.

Software   + -
The Gamdias's software is a pleasant surprise. It is well-structured, easy to use and with a tons of options. You will be able to change the aesthetics as well as all the functional aspects.   - Easy to use

Recommendation / Price   + -
Using Geizhals.eu to check prices we see that the Gamdias ZEUS goes for 84 Euros excluding shipping costs. The mouse is well made, uses a high quality sensor, TTL switch and includes unique qualities available only on a few models on the market. Overall Gamidas have been trying very hard in creating a unique gaming mouse but they might have lost focus when it comes to ergonomics. We would love to see a shape that is suitable almost any kind of hand size. Other than that gliding characteristics could be improved by for example using large glide pads. Other than that the buttons could be a bit more comfortable and overall the price tag is rather steep.   - Price
