The CM Storm Recon is a pleasant surprise. The device is comfortable and has some really interesting features, despite the fact that it does not have a high price tag. The rubber surface provides a good grip for long gaming sessions and its symmetrical shape makes it perfect for both left and right-handers. The Avago ADNS-3090 optical sensor performs well and the software is practical and easy to use. |

It is not the first time that we analyze the Avago ADNS-3090 sensor,
which was also behind the Tesoro Gungnir and the Corsair M40. The sensor is able to achieve a resolution of 4000 DPI and during game sessions and daily usage behaves quite well. The glide pads are made from teflon, which guarantees excellent durability. Apart from that you find different surfaces used on the mouse, which provide either perfect grip or comfortable handling. Ergonomically,
the Recon is very comfortable from the first contact, thanks to the soft touch cover on the top.
It is also worth to mention that this model is also suitable for left-handers. |

The software, available on the official website, it is well made and easy to use. The program is complete, intuitive and easy to use. There are even some interesting options for the backlight, like the "LED mode" which is avaible in three differents ways. We would like to see the possibility to import and export profiles from the software, which is very useful
if you want to backup the settings or share them with friends. |

The price of the CM Storm Recon is about 45 Euros. In terms of value, it is certainly a product of excellent quality and in line with competition
with features, finish
and manufacturing quality. |
