Conclusion

General   + -
The Cooltek W2 is a tower case designed for those that like an elegant and classic design. Despite the small size, the W2 is able to accomodate up to an XL-ATX motherboard and poweful multi-GPU due to its eight expansion slots. During our tests, we were able to use components of generous dimensions. The build quality is excellent and materials are pleasant to the touch. The bundle includes two 140mm fans with black sleeved cables and one 120mm at the front. The interior space is more than enough and you will be able to use high-end components without any problems. Even if you are into liquid cooling, the front part has enough space for up to a 240 or 280mm radiator. In addition to all cooling options, Cooltek has also installed a small three-way micro-switch in order to adjust the preinstalled fans to 5, 7 or 12V.

Manufacturing quality / Ergonomics   + -
Cooltek's W2 is made of aluminum and black painted steel of excellent quality, both internally and externally. The sidepanels are pretty light, but we did not observe any sharp edges or bad finish. The mounting process was easy and very simple, so we have not found anything to report and there is also a lot of room to work with components. We particularly enjoyed the innovative system of fastening the sidepanels and the internal layout regarding the PSU mounting. Cooltek W2 is able to accomodate up to three 3.5" HDDs and three 2.5" SSDs which should be enough for any system. The rear part there even has space for a 5.25" ODD, hovewer, it is too unconventional and we would like to see at least a slot-in on the front panel.

- High quality materials - Aluminum

- No 5.25" front slot

Design / Layout   + -
The design is clean and simple, and the lines of the Cooltek W2 are definitely timeless. Even the space inside is done in a very good manner. The cooling part of the W2 includes two 140mm fans, one 120mm on rear and it is also possible to install two additional fans at the bottom of the case. As far as filtering systems are concerned, Cooltek uses small dust filters in front of all the intake fans and PSU. The Cooltek W2 is a cube case that is able to accomodate high-end system with multi-GPU setups.   - Design
- 3 pre-installed fans

Recommendation   + -
If you are looking for an ATX cube solution with a very clean and elegant design and, at the same time, a very good quality, then Cooltek W2 is definitely for you. This model is available in two different colors (silver and black) and with or without window. At the moment, on Geizhals.eu, the price of the Cooltek W2 is about 99 euro without shipping costs.
