Conclusion

Overall we can say that the HS-260 is a good product. The build quality is excellent and used materials are of high quality. The comfort is quite important in this segment and that is where the HS-260 has been able to excel, thanks to the soft padding of the headband and earpads. The bundle is above average since there are two additional earpads made from leather. Despite the fact that earpads do not feature a frame, the mounting process is very easy and fast to do. The weight is good, despite a rather big size of the earcups that completely surround the ear. The padding is of excellent quality and isolate you from noise which could be potentially annoying.

In our review we have already mentioned that the experience of the sound is very subjective, as some users prefer well marked bass while other prefer high treble and so on. The sound of the HS-260 is well balanced and the quality of the high, medium and low is pretty good. The microphone, removable, is placed on a flexible arm with memory effect. Overall, the headset microphone reflects the quality of the headset capturing a clear and natural sound.

The Func HS-260 headset however suffers from few small flaws. The small wheel placed on the left earcup devoted to the volume control is a good solution, but in our opinion, it is too small and is not always easy to use. In addition, the adjustment of the headband is not very precise and we would prefer if steps are better marked.

The price of Geizhals.eu is about 70 euro excluding shipping costs. In our opinion, the build quality is definitely at a good level and we believe that the Func HS-260 have a good value for money. The Func HS-260 receives good 4 out of 5 stars.
