A bit late to the party

EVGA is the last one amongst the larger motherboard vendors to announce their Z270 motherboards. Like when in the past, when a new chipset was launched, EVGA has prepared three new models. This time they’ve come up with the EATX form factor Z270 Classified K, the ATX flavored Z270 FTW K and the ITX Z270 Stinger.

VRM might not be the cause

According to latest tests, it appears that VRM might not be the cause of earlier issues with some EVGA GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 graphics cards.

Should address VRM temperature issues

It appears that EVGA has now officially release all BIOS updates for its GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 graphics cards which should address issues with VRM temperature.

Shorter, fully modular and with 80Plus Gold

EVGA has announced its newest line of power supply units, the EVGA SuperNOVA G3 series, which will have a shorter design, offer fully modular connectivity and be 80 PLUS Gold certified.

VRM goes up in smoke

After the initial reports of some EVGA GTX 1080 FTW and GTX 1070 FTW having issues with VRM temperatures, a video of an EVGA catching fire has leaked online.

EVGA should replace the cards

We already wrote a bit about EVGA's VRM overheating issue which was affecting certain EVGA GTX 1070 FTW and GTX 1080 FTW graphics cards with ACX cooler but it appears that the issue is a bit bigger than initially thought, but luckily, EVGA has a fix and should replace all damaged cards.

Fix coming soon

According to information coming directly from EVGA's forums, it appears that EVGA's GTX 1080 FTW and GTX 1070 FTW graphics cards might have some issues with overheating which should be fixed soon.

Coming in four versions and LED lit logo

EVGA has now officially announced its new redesigned High Bandwidth SLI Bridge that will bring improved performance to Nvidia's new GTX 10 series graphics cards, the EVGA Pro SLI Bridge HB.

What you see is what you get with EVGA

Following the recent issue with factory-overclocked GTX 1080/1070 graphics cards where review samples were clocked higher than those on retail shelves, EVGA was quite keen to issue a statement saying that with their factory-overclocked graphics cards "what you see is what you get".

For GTX 1080/GTX 1070 graphics cards

In addition to a plenty of custom GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 graphics cards, EVGA also showed its custom SLI High-Bandwidth (HB) bridges at the Computex 2016 show.

More coming later today

Following the recent leak of what appeared to be an EVGA GTX 1080 SuperClocked graphics card running in a case, today we have a couple of press pictures showing both the SuperClocked and the FTW version.

Could be a new cooler

After a couple of GTX 1080 Founders Edition and cheaper reference GTX 1080 graphics cards, we now have what appears to be the first picture of a custom GTX 1080 in the form of EVGA GTX 1080 SuperClocked with a possible new ACX 3.0 cooler.

Aimed at Broadwell-E CPUs
