With up to 2TB capacity

Seagate has shown their BarraCuda SSDs series, which are based on 3D-NAND Flash memory. The BarraCuda drives are available with 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and 2TB capacity. According to Anandtech, pricing will start at $75 USD for the 250GB version and up to $230 USD for the 1TB model. At the moment there isn't a price for the 2TB SSD.


12TB already launched

Not long ago Seagate launched their 12 Terabyte hard drives into different market segments. In front of analysts the CEO of Seagate also announced that 14 Terabyte models are almost ready for evaluation and their soon being shipped to customers for testing.


Up to 64TB NVMe SSD

During the Flash Memory Summit last week, Seagate has shown their latest enterprise SSDs. Seagate is also introducing a new branding strategy to unify their enterprise SSD product lines under one numbering scheme. During the show, the company presented the largest NVMe SSD ever demonstrated with 64TB of capacity. On top of that the drive can achieve insane speeds. Furthermore the company has also shown a bunch of other products.


Both in 2.5-inch form-factor

Seagate has updated its 2.5-inch FireCuda SSHD and 2.5-inch Barracuda HDD lineups with new, higher capacities, adding 2TB to the FireCuda SSHD and 5TB to the Barracuda range.


Breaking records in enterprise market

Seagate has unveiled two new SSDs at the Flash Memory Summit that could break some records in the enterprise SSD market, including the Nytro XP7200, a 10GB/s PCIe x16 SSD as well as a 60TB SAS SSD based on Micron's 3D TLC NAND.

Made for data centers

Seagate has unveiled what it claims to be "the world's fastest ever SSD" which is a 16-lane PCIe (PCIe x16) SSD which provides data transfer of up to 10 GB/s.


Brings more capacity to notebooks

While it is not a problem to squeeze in an SSD in a 7mm-thick notebook drive space, HDDs are still way cheaper and provide much higher capacity, which is probably why Seagate decided to come up with two new 7mm-thick 2.5-inch Mobile HDDs with 2TB and 1TB capacity.
