As we already mentioned on page 4, the MSI Gaming 24GE IPS uses a quad-core i7-4720HQ with base frequency of 2.60 GHz and a turbo clock of 3.60 GHz. The CPU is paired with 16GB of DDR3 memory and a GTX 960M 2GB GPU. The GTX 960M is a mid-range video card available on the market since March 2015. Based on Maxwell architecture and on GM107 chip, this model offers similar performance to a GTX 750 Ti. Thanks to these features many recent titles can be played smoothly with the maximum resolution (1920x1080) with medium or high details. However, very demanding games such as Crysis 3 or Project Cars will require lower resolutions and/or details. To complete the test suite we also launched two runs of the 3DMark FireStrike, in normal and extreme mode. The graphics scores were 4'406 and 2'053 point, which is, as we already pointed out, on the same level as the GTX 750Ti.
