Apple working on new 4K desktop and 12-inch Macbook

For October release

While we will most likely see a lot of interesting new products from Apple this fall, including the new iPhone (or iPhones) and iPads, the latest report suggest that the company might also introduce a couple of new Macs, including a 4K desktop system as well as a 12-inch MacBook.

While the report does not include any specific details regarding the 4K desktop product it does share some additional information regarding previously rumored 12-inch MacBook.

According to the new report, the 12-inch Macbook should feature a Retina display and have a much thinner and lighter aluminum body compared to all currently available MacBook notebooks. Unfortunately, the report is not clear if the company will put the new 12-inch Macbook in its Air or Pro lineup, or even come up with a new name.

As far as the Apple 4K desktop is concerned, the report is not sure if we will be looking at an iMac or standalone monitor but since both lines are scheduled for an update, everything is possible.

Both upcoming products will be focused on enhancements from Apple's latest Yosemite OS X and it will definitely be interesting to see this new full lineup of Mac systems.
