Corsair announces Link Commander Mini

The air-flow control unit

Corsair has announced its newest addition the Corsair Link line of products, the Corsair Link Commander Mini. The Corsair Link Commander Mini is the new air-flow control unit which gives you control over six fans, one RGB LED and connectors for four thermistors as well as control via Corsair Link ecosystem.

According to Corsair, the new Link Commander Mini is a tremendous evolution over the first generation of the Commander and gives you voltage control over up to six fans, one RGB LED lighting chain, up to four thermistors and allows connection to the Corsair Link Dashboard, an interface with Corsair Link-enabled hardware.

The new Commander Mini features fan voltage control in the hardware and while PWM fans are now pretty much standard, the Commander Mini gives you control even for three-pin non-PWM fans. In case you need to control more than six fans, Corsair also has the Cooling Node which can connect to the Commander Mini and give you additional control for five more fans.

There are plenty of Corsair products that already support the Corsair Link like the Hydro Series H80i and H100i AiO liquid coolers and Corsair HXi and the AXi series power supplies where you can monitor load via Corsair Link.

Unfortunately, Corsair did not announce any details regarding the price or the availability date for the new Corsair Link Commander Mini control unit.
