SanDisk shows new SD cards

SDXC and microSDXC UHS-I Class 3

SanDisk unveiled two new products for the Extreme PRO lineup: we're talking about a new SDXC UHS-I Class 3 card with a 512GB capacity, and a microSDXC UHS-I Class 3 card, with a 64GB capacity.

SanDisk is proud to announce the first SDXC 512GB card, with UHS-I Class 3 certification, to join its Extreme PRO lineup. This card is able to reach up to 95MB/s in reading and 90MB/s in writing. No need to say this, but this kind of performances come to a price, which is set to 799.99$.

If that was not enough, in the same lineup, there's another UHS-I Class 3 product, but this time is a microSDXC with a 64GB capacity. It offers the same level of performances, taking up very little space, but with a reduced capacity of course. The 128GB model will come at a later date, in microSDXC form factor. The price for the 64GB is set to 299$.

SanDisk is pretty satisfied with their new products, which will be showed at the official booth at IBC. Curious and fans will be able to test the new products, recording UHD videos to get a taste of the high quality.
