Powered by Nvidia Tegra K1 SoC


The Wall Street Journal is now reporting that the launch is imminent as HTC engineers have been flying to and from Google and their base in Taiwan.

Earlier leaks suggest that the upcoming HTC/Google Nexus 9 will be based on a 8.9-inch 2048x1440 display and powered by Nvidia's Tegra K1 SoC, 2GB of RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage. It will have front-mounted stereo speakers, 8-megapixel rear main camera and 3-megapixel front one for selfies.

Thanks to the Nvidia Tegra K1 SoC, the new Nexus 9 tablet should pack quite a performance punch and make the tablet ready for the 64-bit tablet era coming with the Android L OS.
