Streacom announces ZeroFlex 240W fanless PSU

Enough to keep HTPC systems running

Streacom has announced its newest power supply unit which will be a part of the well known ZeroFlex lineup, the 240W ZF240. Featuring a completely passive cooling design, the ZeroFlex internal PSUs are designed on the Flex form-factor and produce zero noise.

According to Streacom, the new ZF240 features extremely high-quality components as well as an innovative power circuit which is more than 93 percent efficient, all in order to design a 240W PSU that has no active cooling and produces zero noise. According to Streacom, the same PSU could easily run 450W if it was paired up with active cooling.

The ZeroFlex ZF240 has combined power output of 240W and pumps out 10A on 3.3V, 10A on 5V and 14A on a single +12V rail. It comes with 24-pin ATX, 4-pin CPU, two SATA, two Molex and a single FDD output connectors, and IEC C14 socket input connector and dimensions of 139x84x47mm, which makes it suitable for Streacom's FC5 Evo, FC9 and FC10 cases, as well as any other PC case with a bit of modding, of course.

It also features the unique L bracket which connects the PSU directly to the case in order to help out with the cooling.

Unfortunately, Streacom did not reveal any details regarding the actual price or the availability date for the new ZeroFlex 240W fanless power supply.
