Razer announces the Leviathan surround sound bar

With virtual 5.1 surround sound

Razer has unveiled its newest product, the virtual 5.1 surround sound gaming bar, called the Leviathan.


The Razer Leviathan is a based on a sound bar with four drivers and an output of 30W, and a passive subwoofer with 30W RMS of output power, all tuned in order to provide 5.1 virtual surround sound powered by Dolby Virtual Speakers, Dolby Digital and Dolby Pro Logic II. The Razer Leviathan can also directly stream audio from any mobile device via Bluetooth 4.0 aptX and also comes with multiple other connection methods including analogue and optical.




The new Razer Leviathan is designed in order to save space and is honestly quite cool looking and features adjustable tilt angles (00, 150, 180) which should provide optimal sound.




Min-Liang Tan, Razer's co-founder and CEO, noted that: "The opportunity to produce a precision-engineered surround sound solution for high-performance gaming, movie watching and music listening, and make it versatile to use in any setting, was a very exciting proposition for us. The Razer Leviathan delivers what music aficionados, movie buffs and gamers alike are looking for to improve their entertainment setup".
