G.Skill announces 2nd annual OC World Cup 2015

Time for overclocking competition again

G.Skill, a well known manufacturer of both solid state storage as well as extreme performance memory is proud to announce the 2nd annual “OC World Cup 2015” overclocking competition.

According to G.Skill, this year, as a contribution to the overclocking community and all those extreme overclockers worldwide, the company will offer the total cash prize of US $16,200, where the champion of the OC World Cup 2015 will be taking home a cash prize of US $10,000.

As it was the case last year, the OC World Cup 2015 will be split into three rounds, Online Qualifier, Live Qualifier, and Grand Final, with Live Qualifier and Grand Final rounds being held during Computex 2015 show in June.

The Online Qualifier round will be held at HWBOT from 9th of March until 13th of April and will include three benchmarks, SuperPI 32M, MaxxMem Read Bandwidth, and 3DMark Fire Strike Physics, which are chosen to challenge memory tuning skills of those wishing to participate. The top six Online Qualifier contestants will be eligible to enter OC World Cup 2015 Live Qualifiers at Computex 2015.
