Gigabyte announces X99-SLI motherboard

Gigabyte has announced yet another Intel LGA2011-3 socket motherboard, the Intel X99 chipset based X99-SLI.

Based on Intel's X99 chipset, the new Gigabyte X99-SLI motherboard is based on a standard ATX form-factor will compete against the ASUS X99-A and MSI X99S Gaming 7 with a PCB very similar to the UD4. The motherboard has a 6-phase CPU VRM, four PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots and three PCI-e x1 slots. The Gigabyte X99-SLI is compatible with a 4-way SLI and CrossfireX.

The rest of the specifications and features include ten SATA 6Gbps storage ports and M.2 slot, Realtek ALC1150 CODEC integrated audio with 115dBA SNR, audio-grade capacitors and TI-made headphone amplifier, Intel Gigabit Ethernet and eight USB 3.0 ports.

Unfortunately, Gigabyte did not reveal any details regarding the availability date or the price but you can expect it on the market soon with a price of around US $199-249.
