Seagate announces 2TB Game Drive for Xbox

Games getting bigger and bigger

As recent games are taking a lot of storage space, it does not come as a surprise that Seagate has teamed up with Microsoft to launch its newest external hard drive, aimed at Xbox One, the Seagate 2TB Game Drive for Xbox.

Based on a USB 3.0 interface and packing 2TB of storage, the new Seagate's 2TB Game Drive for Xbox certainly comes at the right time with Microsoft announcing Xbox One's ability to record TV content in near future as well as games that are getting bigger and bigger.

Featuring a green and black color scheme, the new Seagate 2TB Game Drive for Xbox is certainly a match made in heaven for the Xbox One and while Xbox One will pretty much work with any USB 3.0 based external HDD, we must say that Seagate's version does look cool and it is the only company licensed to use Xbox branding on the external HDD.

The price of the Seagate 2TB Game Drive for Xbox is set at US $109.99 and will be available at major retail/e-tail shops soon.
