Assassin's Creed: Syndicate to be late on PC

Ubisoft needs extra development time

Ubisoft has announced that the PC version of the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Syndicate will be late as the developer needs extra time to optimize and polish the game.

While Assassin's Creed: Syndicate will hit Playstation 4 and Xbox One on 23rd of October, it appears that PC version will come four weeks later, on November 19th. According to Ubisoft's Studio Production Manager, Sam Kovalev, developer will use those four weeks to finalize all of the polish and optimization in order to make sure the game and all of its systems are stable when it launches and run smoothly on different configurations.

He also added that the developer has introduces several new improvements in order to stabilize and optimize the PC version early in the project.

It appears that Ubisoft has learned its lesson from Assassin's Creed Unity which was ridden with bugs and performance issues.
