In case you have been itching to try out Turtle Rock Studios' Evolve game it might just be your lucky day as the game will be free to play on Xbox One and PC during this weekend.

Those that power it up will be able to check out everything that Evolve has to offer, including Evolve Hunting Season 1 and Behemoth Monster on September 4th as well as Evolve Hunting Season 2 on September 5th. In addition to the free weekend, the Meteor Goliath, a special version of the Goliath monster will now be permanently available for free to all Evolve players.

In case you missed it earlier, Evolve is a rather interesting four-on-one shooter game where four players battle against a single monster. With four monsters, five modes, eighteen different hunters, the Evolve had an interesting concept but unfortunately, player numbers have not been so good.
