ASUS teases liquid cooled GX700 notebook at IFA 2015

Unveils the ROG G752 notebook as well

ASUS has a lot to show at IFA 2015 show this year, but a teaser of a liquid-cooled GX700 notebook certainly caught our attention. In addition to the GX700, ASUS also unveiled the new Republic of Gamers G752 notebook as well.

While it did not reveal much details regarding it, ASUS teased the upcoming liquid-cooled GX700 notebook with a single picture. As you can see from the picture, the GX700 will have a dedicated box that will house a liquid cooling system. According to ASUS, the ROG GX700 will be based on Intel's new Skylake K-series CPU, latest graphics from Nvidia and feature a 17-inch 4K/UHD display, probably with support for Nvidia G-Sync.




In addition to the liquid-cooled ROG GX700 notebook teaser, ASUS also announced a successor of the well known ROG G751 notebook, the ROG G752. Featuring a slightly updated design, making it a bit more sleeker, the ROG G752 will be based on a wide a choice of Intel 6th generation Core Skylake CPUs, including the unlocked K-series Core i7-6820HK CPU. It can also be equipped with a wide choice of Nvidia graphics cards, including the GTX 980M with 8GB of VRAM, which should be enough to power the 17.3-inch 4K/UHD G-Sync display.

In the same announcement, ASUS said that the ROG G752 notebook should be available by the end of this year with a price starting at US $1,499. The company also added that the liquid-cooled ROG GX700 notebook could also be available by the end of this year, so we will surely keep an eye on it.
