Acer announces new 35-inch Predator Z35 monitor

With 200Hz refresh rate

During IFA 2015 show in Berlin, Acer has unveiled a rather interesting new 35-inch curved monitor with a 200Hz refresh rate, the Acer Predator Z35.

Based on a 35-inch curved AMVA panel with 2560x1080 resolution, the Acer Predator Z35 actually has a native refresh rate of 144Hz which, according to Acer, can be overclocked to 200MHz.

While it might not have a higher resolution panel like some 3440x1440 curved monitors on the market, it is obvious that this one is solely aimed at gaming, due to its high refresh rate. In addition to the high refresh rate, the Acer Predator Z35 also has support for Nvidia G-Sync, 178° / 178° viewing angles and 4ms refresh rate. According to Acer, it can cover 100% of sRGB color gamut, which is kinda interesting.

Acer announced that the new Predator Z35 will be available in December in the US with a price of US $1199.99 while EMEA region should get it at about the same time with a price of €1,099.
