New pumps, pump tops and reservoirs
EK Water Blocks, a well known liquid cooling specialists from Slovenia have released its new line of water cooling pumps, pump tops and reservoirs that will be a part of its new DDC Elite lineup.
The flagship offer in the new DDC Elite lineup is the EK-XTOP DDC 3.2 PWM Elite, a high-performance water cooling pump. Based on a well proven Laing DDC water pump with pre-assembled EK-XTOP DDC pump top, the new EK-XTOP DDC 3.2 PWM Elite offers up to 15 percent higher hydraulic performance compared to the original version and features PWM control that automatically controls the pump speed depending on the CPU temperature.
The pump is placed inside the EK-DDC Heatsink Housing made from ZAMAK (zinc, aluminum, magnesium, copper) alloy, which should both improve the cooling performance of the components as well as prolongs the lifespan of the water pump. With metal construction and fined design, that uses thermal pads to transfer heat from the components, the EK-DDC Heatsink Housing can be further cooled by placing it in front of any fan and also comes with vibration dampening rubber mounting system, which should further reduce vibrations coming from the pump.
The EKWB EK-XTOP DDC 3.2 PWM Elite will be available in two versions, Acetal with glossy black paint and Plexi version with nickel plated finish on the EK-DDC Heatsink Housing. EKWB will also offer pump tops in Plexi or Acetal version in case you want to change it. The new EKWB EK-XTOP DDC 3.2 PWM Elite can be also paired up with the EK-UNI Pump Bracket and the EK-UNI Pump Bracket Vertical that allows it to be mounted horizontally and vertically with support for a 120mm fan.
In addition to the EK-XTOP DDC 3.2 PWM Elite, EKWB also launched the EK-XRES 100 DDC 3.2 PWM Elite and the EK-XRES 140 DDC 3.2 PWM Elite, both reservoir and pump combos which uses the same EK-XTOP DDC 3.2 PWM Elite pump paired up with two different reservoirs.
According to EK Water Blocks, the EK-XTOP DDC 3.2 PWM Elite pump as well as new EK-XRES 100 DDC 3.2 PWM Elite and the EK-XRES 140 DDC 3.2 PWM Elite pump and reservoir combos should be already available at EK Webshop and its Partner Reseller Network.
The price is set at €105.95 and €103.95 for the EK-XTOP DDC 3.2 PWM Elite pump in Plexi and Acetal versions while the EK-XRES 100 DDC 3.2 PWM Elite and the EK-XRES 140 DDC 3.2 PWM Elite combos will be available at €131.95 and €133.95, respectively. The Plexi and Acetal tops for the EK-XTOP DDC pump will be available for €18.95.
