Galax GTX 980 Ti HOF LN2 GOC breaks 3DMark record

First Quad-SLI to break 34k

Galax has published a couple of pictures which show that its Galax GTX 980 Ti HOF LN2 GOC, or rather four such graphics card, managed to break 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme record by hitting 34665 marks.

According to the Galax post on Facebook page, this is the first quad-SLI system to break 34k marks in 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme benchmark and only graphics card to push 2200MHz on the memory on four graphics cards.

All four GTX 980 Ti HOF LN2 GOC graphics cards were equipped with LN2 pots and the rest of the system included an overclocked Intel Core i7-5960X CPU running on Gigabyte's X99-SOC Champion-CF motherboard and 16GB of memory. The overclocking was done by Mad Tse.

This is quite a result and it appears that high-end components on the Galax GTX 980 Ti HOF LN2 GOC are perfect for overclocking.
