EK Water Blocks, a well known liquid cooling manufacturer from Slovenia has announced its newest high-end, special edition, liquid cooling reservoir, the EK-RES X4 250.

According to EK Water Blocks, the EK RES-X4 is a high-end standalone liquid cooling reservoir unit with completely new design and features. When compared to the RES-X3 series, the RES-X4 is larger, featuring 250mm height and 90mm diameter. It uses high quality 80mm diameter glass tube and can hold up to 0.8 liters of liquid.

Both the bottom and the top part of the EK-RES X4 250 are made from quality POM Acetal material and come with special metal nut holders that allow the reservoir to be mounted in different positions. The EK-RES X4 250 also comes with RES X4 Uni holder and RES X4 120mm fan holder, both made from nickel plated metal, allowing to be used as either vertical or horizontal stand or mounted on a 120mm fan or chassis bottom.

The EK-RES X4 250 comes with a total of eight ports, with two G1/4" and one 3/8" threaded port at the top and five G1/2 threaded ports at the bottom. This allows users to find the perfect orientation and port configuration. When placed in a horizontal position, it can be used with EK-HD Tubes that serve as a suction and pressure ports inside the unit. The EK-RES X4 250 also comes with pre-installed Anticyclone that should prevent liquid swirling.

The bottom part of the EK-RES X4 also features an LED strip with while LEDs that will illuminate the liquid inside the reservoir and the position of the LED strip cable is also adjustable in order to allow perfect and neat cable management.
