EK Water Blocks has released its new MX series Dual Bay reservoirs and reservoir/pump combos, the EK-DBAY D5 PWM MX
.

The new MX series includes four new products that will bring lower production cost of the existing EK-DBAY D5 reservoir but still offers the same convenient solution as a two-slot 5.25-inch drive bay reservoir. Although it is a reduced cost version of the well known EK-DBAY D5 reservoir, it still offers the high-performance with two-slot 5.25-inch drive bay reservoir and integrated Laing D5 PWM water pump.

The PWM factor allows the new EK-DBAY D5 PWM MX to have automatic pump speed regulation depending the CPU temperature. The EK-DBAY D5 PWM MX uses two 5.25-inch drive bays and is made from injection molded black ABS polymer, for the Acetal version, or injection molded transparent MABS polymer, for the Plexi version.

The back side features a mounting space for the pump motor which can be purchased separately or as a combo. It also comes with one G3/8" threaded port on the top of the reservoir which serves as a fill port for the system and a total of four standard G1/4" threaded ports, three on the back that can be used as inlet and outlet ports and one at the bottom that can be used as a drain port.

The reservoir also features an integrated anti-cyclone whic prevents excessive vortex formation and the reservoir comes with anti-vibration rubber mounting system, separating the EK-DBAY D5 MX from the computer chassis.

According to EK Water Blocks, the EK-DBAY D5 MX and the EK-DBAY D5 PWM MX are already available in Europe and will be available with and without the pump and in Acetal and Plexi versions, both priced at €64,95 without the pump and €129,95 with included pump.
