Lab501 hits over 8GHz on AMD FX-9590 CPU

Pushes FX-8370 to 7,972MHz as well

Lab501 was at eMAG's event where it had a chance to do a neat overclocking session with some rather impressive result of hitting over 8GHz on the AMD FX-9590 CPU and just a tad below 8GHz on the FX-8370 CPU.

Since Lab501.ro site is ran by Monstru and Matose, a couple of well known overclockers, it does not come as a surprise that these guys could not wait to push that hardware to its limits and the result is an impressive overclock score on two flagship AMD FX-series CPUs.

According to details over at Lab501.ro, the FX-8370 was pushed to 7,972MHz on ASUS 970 PRO GAMING motherboard while Monstru also managed to push the FX-9590 to 8,061MHz on ASRock 990FX Extreme9 motherboard, which is around 40MHz higher than the previous frequency record in Romania.

While the eMAG event was all about AMD hardware, Oculus Rift and VR experience on a systems with Sapphire Radeon R9 390X graphics card, as well as some neat prizes, we are quite sure that all eyes were on LN2 smoking from pushing FX-9590 to that great overclocking result.
