Nvidia GTX 1060 launching on July 7th

Launch pulled significantly forward

According to the latest report, Nvidia has decided to pull the launch of its mainstream GTX 1060 forward to July 7th.

While it was originally planned for August, according to the latest report from Benchlife.info, Nvidia has decided to significantly pull the launch date of the Geforce GTX 1060 forward, setting it for July 7th. The new Geforce GTX 1060 should be on retail/e-tail shelves on July 14th.

According to earlier information, the GTX 1060 should be based on GP106 GPU with 1280 CUDA cores and could be available in both 3GB and 6GB versions, both with 192-bit memory interface.

The new Geforce GTX 1060 should put some pressure on AMD's Radeon RX 480 graphics card officially launching later today.
