Powercolor brings unlocked BIOS for RX 480 RED Devil

For more overclocking headroom

Powercolor has release an optional "unlocked BIOS" for its recently released Radeon RX 480 RED Devil graphics card which is aimed at power users and add more overclocking headroom by increasing the power limits of the card.

Solely aimed at enthusiasts and overclockers, the new unlocked BIOS increases power limits of the card allowing for higher overclocking potential. Of course, the BIOS raises both the power consumption, temperatures as well as noise as it spins the fans a whole lot faster in order to keep the Polaris GPU cooled.

Powercolor notes that you should not use Furmark benchmark with the unlocked BIOS as it could damage the card, even if not overclocked. Apparently, flashing the card with unlocked BIOS does not void the warranty but you should not do it unless you know what you are doing.

You can find the "unlocked BIOS" via link below.
