Samsung working on 34-inch 1440p 100Hz monitor

We might see it at IFA 2016

Samsung has unveiled its newest 34-inch curved 1440p 100Hz FreeSync-ready monitor that should be available later this year.

Featuring DisplayPort 1.3 interface and Quantum Dot technology, the new Samsung monitor, which is currently known only under its CF791 model name, will use a high-quality 34-inch VA 1500R curved panel with 3440x1440 resolution, 4ms response time and 3000:1 contrast ratio.

Completely white with silver accents and featuring a rather small bezel, the Samsung CF791 looks really impressive and it also packs two 7W speakers.

While it support AMD FreeSync with maximum refresh rate of 100Hz, we still do not know what is the minimum refresh rate, something that is quite important. In addition to the DisplayPort 1.3 input, the Samsung CF791 will also come with HDMI input and should be VESA compatible.

The new 34-inch CF791 monitor could be showcased at IFA 2016 show and we expect it to become available later this year.
