Although we already heard some details regarding Nvidia's upcoming entry-level Geforce GTX 1050 graphics card, the new report suggest it could launch as early as next month.

Based on either a cut-down version of the GP106 GPU or a completely new GP107 Pascal GPU, as suggested by the source, the Geforce GTX 1050 will most likely end up with 768 CUDA cores and 4GB of GDDR5 memory with a 128-bit memory interface, according to the earlier leaked GPU-Z screenshot from Benchlife.com.




While these specifications puts it in the same line as the earlier available GTX 950, the new GPU architecture and higher clock speeds should provide significantly higher performance.

With a TDP set at under 75W, the Geforce GTX 1050 will lack the need for any additional PCIe power connectors, making it suitable for entry-level and HTPC systems.

Currently, the Geforce GTX 1050 is rumored to launch sometime next month, which should give Nvidia enough time to counter AMD's Radeon RX 460 in the entry-level market and be ready for the Christmas shopping season.
