Presenting The White Eagle from ML_Mods

Participant in Thermaltake CaseMOD event

These days, ML_Mods is working on a really interesting case modding project, which he calls “The White Eagle”. He’s presenting it in our forums and we believe it’s worth drawing some more attention to it.

With “The White Eagle” ML_Mods is participating in the Thermaltake CaseMOD Invitational Season 2 event. The project is based on a Thermaltake Core X5 case which has been heavily modded by Michal. Michal is Polish and he thought it would be nice to use the same colors that are used on the Polish flag, which are white and red.

The Thermaltake Core X5 is a big cube case, which is compatible with E-ATX motherboards and high-end water cooling gear. Due to its internal layout and shape, displaying the hardware hardware in the nicest possible way can be pretty tricky with this case. Because of this ML_Mods decided to rotate the internals of the Core X5 by 90 degrees. In other words the case now stands on what used to be the front in the past.

Integrated into the old front there are two large custom made reservoirs filled, which have been filled with white liquid. In the case of hardware Michal is using an ASUS Maximus VIII Formula paired with an Intel Core i7-6700K with Avexir Tesla memory. Additionally there are two ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 STRIX and the power comes from a Thermaltake Toughpower DPS G RGB 1250W Titanium power supply. The system feature an extensive water cooling setup with two different loops based on Thermaltake components.

These days the voting stage of the Thermaltake CaseMOD event is running on the official site and it will be open until the first days of February. The winner will receive a juicy Thermaltake package including a “The Tower 900” case, a Thermaltake View 27 case, a Toughpower DPSG RGB 850W, a Riing 12 LED RGB TT Premium Edition 3-Fan Pack and a Water 3.0 Riing RGB 240. We wish good luck to everyone!
