AOC releases new 29-inch Q2963PM UltraWide monitor

The 29-incher with 2560x1080 resolution

AOC has announced the new AOC Q2963PM UltraWide monitor that offers a 21:9 aspect ratio allowing for widescreen movies to be viewed without any black bars on the top and bottom of the screen.
Paired up with a IPS LED panel, the new AOC Q2963PM features WFHD 2560x1080 resolution, dual 3W speakers and multiple inputs like DisplayPort 1.2a, HDMI, DVI-D and D-sub. It also allows you to multiply/split your screen with Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes and also comes wiht MHL technology in case you want to pair it up wiht MHL-equipped smartphone or other device.

The rest of the specifications include a Dynamic Contrast Ratio of 50,000,000:1, 178° vertical and horizontal viewing angles, 250 cd/m² of brightness as well as the 5ms response time.

Already launched in Europe earlier this month with a price tag of £429 in the UK and around €450 in the rest of the Europe, the new AOC Q2963PM UltraWide monitor will also be available at Amazon, Microcenter, Newegg, TigerDirect and other US-based retailers/e-tailers for US $499.
