Leaves the battlefield to Supermicro, Asus and co

According to their sources from motherboard industry, it is just a matter of time before Intel pulls out of that market since the company has already heavily reduced the resources and manpower in the channel motherboard industry. This will give a big piece of market for Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, ASRock and every other motherboard manufacturer that does server motherboards. According to the report, it will open up a demand for around 4 to 5 million motherboards per year and even more if Intel leaves the market.

Intel currently ships its brand server motherboards mostly to small regional brands worldwide as well as some bigger consumers with demand.
