Yesterday Gigabyte announced their Radeon R9 200 Series graphics cards, which feature a factory overclocking as well as the companies WindForce cooler. Now Gigabyte is launching the entry-level R7 200 Series cards or in other words, R7 260X, R7 250 and R7 240.

In case of the R7 260X we find no less than three different cards, which are based on the Bonaire GPU and two out of these three cards use a custom design. In fact, there is the GV-R726XWF2-2GD in revision 1 and 2 that make use of a custom design and then there is the thrid card, which makes use of a less complex fan. All three cards feature the same factory overclocking, therefore the GPU runs at 1'188 MHz compared to the 1'100 MHz you get from the reference cards. In case of the memory you get the standard dish, meaning the chip are clocked at 6.50 GHz and there is 2 Gigabyte of memory connected to the GPU via a 128 Bit memory interface.

Next in the text: the Radeon R7 250 or in Gigabyte terms the GV-R725OC-1GI. This card features a 28 nm Oland core with 384 Stream processors, 24 TMUs, 8 ROPs as well as a 128 bit GDDR5 memory interface. Additionally there is 1 Gigabyte of memory. Even this card comes with a decent frequency bump from reference 1'050 MHz to 1'100 MHz. The memory does it's job at 4.60 GHz. Last but not least there is the Radeon R7 240 (GV-R724OC-2GI). This card clocks at 900 MHz (reference 780 MHz) and ships with 2 Gigabyte DDR3 memory clocked at 1.80 GHz.
