Battlefield 4 PC servers killed by DDOS attacks

During this weekend

Although gaming servers are usually spared from DDOS attacks due to the fact that most of them come from the same people that actually play those games, it appears that PC Battlefield 4 servers were battered by them during this weekend.

“We are currently experiencing attacks on our infrastructure that is impacting online gameplay on BF4 PC. We are working on mitigating actions,” according to DICE statement reported by Kotaku.

On Battlefield forums, DICE's Ali Hassoon further explained that the servers are being under DDOS attack. “We are being targeted by a DDOS, but working on fixing it ASAP. I’m sorry somebody is ruining your and my day. Rest assured we are doing our best to mitigate the situation though,” he said.

It appears that Battlefield 4 multiplayer is not having a best month at all.
