EKWB water block looks good on it

We managed to grab an exclusive photo of the upcoming Powercolor R9 290X LCS graphics card which is actually the first water cooled R9 290X graphics card that we have seen so far.

Although we still do not have any details, it is nice to see that partners have started to reveal some details regarding its upcoming custom R9 290X and R9 290 graphics cards which suggest that we are definitely drawing closer to the launch. As you can see from the picture, the water block comes from EK Water Blocks and we are quite sure that Powercolor will at least include a slight factory overclock and it will definitely have a much better overclocking potential.

AMD's reference cooler on the R9 290X was far from good and although it did a decent job, EKWB's full cover water block will be much better. Of course, we still have to get the official launch date as well as the price premium that Powercolor will want for such a card but at least we now know that it is real and coming soon.
