MSI rolls out GTX 750 OCV1 graphics card

Factory-overclocked GTX 750

MSI has released yet another member of the Nvidia GTX 700 series lineup, the factory-overclocked and custom GTX 750 2GD5/OCV1 graphics card.

Based on a custom PCB and paired up with a custom dual-slot cooler, the new MSI GTX 750 2GD5/OCV1 comes with a factory-overclock of 1059MHz for GPU base and 1137MHz for GPU Boost clocks while 2GB of GDDR5 memory, paired up with a 128-bit memory interface, works at 5.0GHz.

As you probably already know, the GTX 750 is based on Nvidia's new GM107 Maxwell GPU and packs 512 CUDA cores, 32 TMUs and 16 ROPs. The reference clocks for the GTX 750 are set at 1020MHz for the GPU based and 1085MHz for the GPU Boost clocks, so MSI managed to pull a decent factory-overclock without raising the TDP since the MSI GTX 750 2GD5/OCV1 does not need additional PCI-Express power connectors.

The new MSI GTX 750 2GD5/OCV1 graphics card features standard DVI, HDMI and D-Sub video outputs. Unfortunately and as it is usually the case, MSI did not shed any details regarding the actual price or the availability date but it should cost somewhere around US $130.
