HP already announced its Chromebox system back in February but until today, we did not have any details regarding the actual specifications.

Thanks to documentation which showed up at HP's website and spotted by the guys from Mobilegeek.de, we now have some details regarding the actual hardware of the HP Chromebox.

The HP Chromebox is packed in a small box measuring 126x124x39mm and will be based on either 1.4GHz Celeron 2955U or the 2.1GHz clocked Core i7-4600U CPU. The rest of the specifications include 2, 4 or 8GB of DDR3L RAM, 16GB M.2 SSD for storage, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11bgn WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity, Realtek's ALC283 audio, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs as well as a card reader.
