Installation

Overview

The instructions included inside the 901 are very clear and will help you during the installation of the components.
Despite the unconventional design of the In Win 901, the components are arranged almost like in a normal case. The PSU slot is located on the bottom and you can install units with a maximum length of 200 mm. For our test we chose to use a non-modular power supply, but despite this aspect we were able to properly close both side panel and end up with a good cable managment. As for the motherboard, we did not detect any compability issues thanks to the huge cut-out that will help during the installation of the waterblock or air coolers. In order to complete the installation of the setup we have used a long graphic card without any problem. We remind that In Win 901 allows the installation of coolers with a maximum height of 130 mm and 300 mm long graphics card.

Furthermore, there are numerous cable tie loops which help arranging cables in a neat way. Looking for cable routing holes reveals, that there are quite a few, which have been positioned wisely.
Despite some initial concerns about the visible cables, we must say that thanks to the sleeved black cables and the smoked glass, it is pretty hard see what is inside the case.
