The new CRAS modules from Klevv have been enclosed in a box, which is equipped with thick foam pads offering very good protection. Apart from that the box looks really nice, and unpacking these modules is a very nice experience.

The heatspeaders of the CRAS modules are mainly made of aluminum. They are black anodized and there is also a silver bar carrying the KLEVV logo. Overall these DIMMs are beautiful and the quality of the heatspreaders is simply great. Apart from that you can have those modules with different lighting, whereas red and white are the two options you can choose from.

Taking the heatspeaders off Klevvs CRAS series is not something we would recommend doing at home due to strong adhesive that requires a very careful approach. Once the heatspreaders have been removed we see that Klevv is putting MFR chips from SK Hynix on these modules, whereas the chips have been labled ESSENCORE, which is a subsidiary of SK Hynix.

The SPD of these modules contains some basic information such as maker, part number and manufacturing date. It also features JEDEC profiles up to DDR4-3000, as well as an XMP profile, which will make these modules run at DDR4-3000.
A detailed overview of the top JEDEC profiles and the XMP can be seen on screenshots above.
