Leistungsaufnahme

Hereby we take the power consumption under load as well as idle. To generate a load situation we use SiSoft Sandra's Burn-In Module and measure the whole systems power consumption. The values we take when the System just booted into Windows and the load drops.

Overclocking

Using a very powerful Noctua NH-D14 aircooler we were able to reach 4.327 GHz at 1.45 Volt with the sample we have before the system rebooted throwing a bluescreen.

This time we also overclocked the CPU using liquid nitrogen. With the CPU at -196°C and at 1.812 Volt it was possible to push this little six core CPU all the way up to 6.170 GHz. At this point we also have to say that overclocking the current AMD CPUs is a lot of fun because all the CPUs we tested had no clodbug and it was therefore possible to just fill the LN2 pot to the rim and focus on overclocking.
