Three SKUs

According to a CPU support list from Biostar website, it appears that, in addition to the consumer line of Richland based A-Series APUs, AMD will release a couple of business class SKUs as well.

AMD has announced a new embedded system-on-chip (SoC) G-Series platform that will feature no less than five different SKUs, based on Jaguar CPU architecture and AMD Radeon 8000 series GPUs.

According to our sources, which can't be named for obvious reasons, AMD is preparing to launch its new HD 7990 Malta dual-GPU graphics card on April 24th. Während eines Presse-Briefings anlässlich der diesjährigen GDC zeigt AMD zum ersten Mal eine Radeon HD 7990 Dual-GPU-Grafikkarte nach Referenzdesign. Nachdem man im vergangenen Jahr den Board-Partnern freie Hand bei der Schaffung von Dual-GPU-Karten gab, will AMD nun diese Grafikkarten pushen.


AMD hat bekannt gegeben, dass man die Transaktionen mit der 7171 Southwest Parkway Holdings abgeschlossen hat. Dabei handelt es sich um den Verkauf sowie um das anschliessende Rückleasing des "Lone Star Campus" in Austin.
