Starts at US $179

Google's Chrome OS is becoming more and more popular and we have recently seen quite a few neat looking Chromebox nettop systems and it is not a big surprise that ASUS wants a piece of that market with a launch of the new ASUS Chromebox system which starts at US $179 and is based on three different Haswell CPUs.

First one without any fans

ASUS has announced its newest member of the Eee Box nettop lineup, the Eee Box EB1037, which is actually the first completely fan-less nettop, mostly thanks to the fact that it is based on Intel's Bay Trail Celeron J1900 CPU.

With 60 millimeter drivers

ASUS' Republic of Gamers brand already has quite a wide product range for gamers and it was long ago when the brand was actually focused exclusively on motherboards and graphics cards. Recently, ASUS' ROG brand has been extended to quite a few peripheral devices, including the recently launched Cerberus gaming headset.

Based on Intel DSL5320 and DLS5520 chipsets

ASUS already announced its second-generation add-on ThunderboltEX II series cards and both the single-port ThunderboltEX II and the dual-port ThunderboltEX II DUAL should be shipping pretty soon.

28-incher for US $799

ASUS has already announced its newest ROG SWIFT PG278Q gaming monitor which brings 2560x1440 resolution and support for Nvidia G-Sync but those craving for a bit more pixels would be happy to know that ASUS also announced the new PB287Q, a 28-inch 4K monitor which will have a US $799 price tag.

Faster and cooler

ASUS have finally announced their R9 290X as well as R9 290 DirectCU II graphics cards. Apparently both these cards have been equipped with ASUS' DirectCU II custom cooler and they also feature a custom PCB as well as factory over clocking.

2560x1440 panel at 120Hz with G-Sync

ASUS has unveiled the recently teased ROG SWIFT PG278Q, a 27-inch 2560x1440 (WQHD) premium gaming monitor with 120+ Hz refresh rate as well as ASUS GamePlus and Nvidia G-Sync technologies.

Big event for ASUS

Since we will be shaking our New Year hangover with a fresh batch of news articles from CES 2014 scheduled to kick off on January 7th, it appears that ASUS will definitely have a lot to show at that show and recent teasers suggest that we will see a couple of new devices most likely based on 4-, 5- and 6-inch screen sizes.

Another bottleneck opened

ASUS is apparently working on a Z87-Deluxe/SATA-Express motherboard. This upcoming motherboard will feature two SATA-Express ports, which support higher bandwith than todays state-of-the-art SATA 6Gbps Ports.

Custom design, DirectCU II and factory-overclock

ASUS has now officially announced its new Radeon R9 290X DirectCU II series graphics cards which will feature two models, one with reference AMD clocks and one that will feature factory-overclocked settings. Based on ASUS' own custom design with 10-phase VRM, Samsung memory chips and custom DirectCU II cooler, the ASUS Radeon R9 290X DirectCU II is definitely an example of what a non-reference graphics card has to be.

Officially unveiled

Although we already had a chance to see most, if not all, details regarding ASUS' latest Republic of Gamers member, the Poseidon GTX 780 and even see some reviews, ASUS has now officially announced the new graphics card as well as released a bit more details regarding the actual availability date.

Comes with decent 1050MHz GPU factory-overclock

Although it has been scheduled for launch in January 2014, Sweclockers site managed to get their hands on all the details regarding the ASUS' upcoming R9 290X DirectCU II OC graphics card that will feature custom PCB, ASUS' DirectCU II dual-fan cooler and a decent factory-overclock.

Overclocked to 1020MHz for the GPU

ASUS has now officially unveiled its new GTX 780 Ti DirectCU II graphics that will be available as of middle of December, according to ASUS. Nvidia finally gave the green light to its partners and ASUS' GTX 780 Ti DirectCU II is just the first of many custom GTX 780 Ti graphics cards to come.

More ASUS goldrush

It is not a secret that ASUS is gearing up for the launch of a new high-end graphics card. Of course, we are talking about the ASUS GTX 780 Ti DirectCU II OC graphics card, which will be one of the fastest single GPU graphics card money can buy. Meanwhile, Sweclockers managed to get hold of an ASUS marketing slide, which shows the same graphics card but with gold instead of red stickers.

4.3-inches and Qualcomm Snapdragon 400

Judging by the GFXBenchmark performance data spotted by chinese.vr-zone.com site, it appears that ASUS plans to launch the new PadFone mini based on 4.3-inch screen and Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset. According to VR-Zone.com, it is scheduled to show up in Taiwan on December 11th.

Looks quite impressive

ASUS has released a couple of teaser pictures on its Republic of Gamers site showing the upcoming custom design Radeon R9 290X DirectCU II graphics card that will not only feature a custom cooler, but also come with better Super Alloy Power technology as well as the PCB strengthening bracket.

Poses for photo-shoot over at SweClockers

Although we already saw some teasers of the new ASUS ROG GTX 780 Poseidon graphics card that will feature a new DirectCU H2O hybrid cooler, it appears that the graphics card was at Dreamhack Winter in Jönköping, where Sweclockers.com managed to take it for a full photo-session showing the cooler in fully glory.

Best guess is GTX 780 Ti

ASUS Republic of Gamers Australia has released a new set of pictures teasing the new Republic of Gamers Poseidon graphics card. Although it did not release any details regarding the actual GPU behind it, it did reveal some details regarding the cooler and the PCB and judging by the timeframe, best guess is that we are looking at ASUS ROG GTX 780 Ti Poseidon.

PCI-Express sound card for singers

In addition to the ASUS Xonar U7 Echelon USB 7.1-channel sound card, ASUS has also unveiled the new Xonar D-KARAX, a professional-grade sound card that is designed for singing enthusiasts.

USB-based compact 7.1-channel USB sound card

ASUS has announced a new addition to its Xonar sound card lineup, the ASUS Xonar U7 Echelon Edition 7.1 USB sound card that will retain the high audio quality of the award-winning Xonar U7 sound card but also add the military-inspired camouflage patter unique to the Echelon lineup.
