Conclusion

In conclusion we can say that the Raidmax Viper GX II is a mid-tower PC case designed for those that aim to have a nice rig which comes with a entry level price. Raidmax decided to use a glossy plastic finish on this model, which is rather light and prone to scratching. We would have prefered to see a different material treated in a better way in order to add a bit more value to the overall design of the product.

The available interior space is adequate for a PC case compatible with ATX motherboards, with a good amount of HDD and SSD bays. In addition, the PSU space is more than good since there is also enough space for high-end solutions that are usually longer than standard 160mm size .

The amount of features available are interesting and we appreciate the small Raidmax signature on PCI-bracket and ODD slots. Last but not least we also appreciate the HDD/SSD Hot Swap bay placed at top of the case since you will be able to easily plug in a spare drive to your system without removing the side panel.

The price of the Raidmax Viper II GX is about 65 euro on PC-Cooling.de. In our opinion, the price is appropriate to the quality and to the bundle of the product, since there are two 120mm fans with 4-pin molex header. Overall, this case is a good solution for those who want an entry-level product, which makes it ideal for new gamers. The build quality is good but we would like to see a different plastic with higher quality, but since there are quite a few things that could be improved we give the Raidmax Viper GX II 3.5 out of 5 stars.
