Racoon hits 6,711MHz on Core i5-6600K

Gets a few other scores as well

As we reported earlier, our in-house overclocker, Mike (Racoon) Buchroither, managed to get a neat new Core i5-6600K CPU and he has been busy with overclocking the last drop of performance from it during the weekend and today we have a fresh set of scores to report.

Thanks to our cooperation with MIFCOM, we managed to secure a new Core i5-6600K CPU and it appears to be a good sample as earlier, Racoon managed to hit 6,704MHz and after an overclocking session over the weekend, he managed to pull a few more MHz from it, ending with 6,711MHz, which was enough for a second place on HWBOT.org.

Before we get to rest of the results, we should note that the hardware setup included an ASUS Maximus VIII Impact motherboard, G.Skill's 16GB TridentZ memory, an ASUS GTX 750 Ti and Seasonic 1200W Platinum PSU.

In addition to validated 6,711MHz score, Racoon also came up with five first places and and one second place regarding the benchmarks SuperPi 1M, SuperPi 32M, Wprime32M, Wprime 1024M, Cinebench R11.5 and Cinebench R15.

You can check out the 6711.92MHz validation and screenshot below while you can find the rest of the results in our forum via the link below.
