Conclusion

The Fractal Design Newton R3 600W is a very solid PSU. The Layout is similar to PSU's in the power range of 800 to 1000W. Since it is only specified for 600W the Layout is rock solid. The quality of the components is good for this power rating. The Fractal Design Newton R3 600W has a very nice Design and also the case is extremly well manufactured. Unfortunately the inside can not keep up with this level of quality. The soldering quality is average and the PCB is not precisely cut. These are not really bad points and don't affect the performance, but from such a high end PSU you could expect also high quality on places you usually don't see.
The Fractal Design Newton R3 600W receives good 4 out of 5 stars.
