Including a tiny mini-ITX model

Following Gigabyte's announcment, ASUS has unveiled five AMD X470 motherboard too. While four models come with ATX form factor, the last one lose some slots and ports to squeeze into a mini-ITX profile. Like with the previous news, we will do a quick recap.


With Intel 8th Gen CPUs

It appears that ASUS will use six-core Coffee Lake-H processor inside the upcoming GL503 and GL703 gaming notebooks. While on the CPU side the company has made a big step forward, regarding the graphics side ASUS is going to use a GTX 1050Ti graphics card.


AU Optronics is working hard on it

A few months ago, Acer announced that their Predator X27 4K HDR monitor is going to be be delayed until the first quarter of current year. We heard a similar story about the ASUS ROG Swift PG27UQ as well and it looks like that AU Optronics is having several issues combining together local dimming with HDR10 standard.


AMD GPUs are now under AREZ brand

A few days ago, NVIDIA has introduced the GeForce Partner Program (GPP), an initiative that should fill the gap between NVIDIA and the companies that produce add-in cards or system based on its technology. We heard that AIB partners were feeling the pressure with GPP although the program isn't mandatory for them.



First X470 mini-ITX model from ASUS

ASUS has been the first manufacturer to come up with AMD AM4 400-series motherboards. Already a few weeks ago, we have seen first details on upcoming ATX models, which are based on AMDs AM4 chipset. Meanwhile, there are finally more details on the ROG Strix X470-I motherboard.



Both based on ATX form factor

The STRIX X470-F Gaming and Prime Pro from ASUS are two AMD AM4 motherboards that come with a few interesting features. These two models are almost identical and according to the pictures the main difference should be about the audio section.


A slight upgrade from the current model

The ROG Crosshair VI Hero from ASUS has received a little upgrade regarding storage part and overall design. This new model sports the upcoming AMD X470 chipset and few interesting changes. Furthermore, it comes with WiFi 2.4/5GHz antennas like the Hero WiFi AC.


Budget optimized RX 570

ASUS already has a wide portfolio when it comes to graphics cards but that didn’t stop them from launching yet another model. The new card belongs to the Expedition series and it is supposed to deliver solid performance at a competitive price point.


Featuring six-core CPU

It appears that ASUS is upgrading its Zephyrus gaming laptop with a six-core Coffee Lake-H processor. While on the CPU side the company has made a big step forward, regarding the graphics side ASUS is going to maintain the Max-Q version of NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 1080 GPU.

A few days ago, we have published a news about an upcoming ASUS X470 motherboard. The picture was showing part of the layout of an alleged STRIX X470 motherboard. Last night, our friend over at Videocardz have posted another picture about the same motherboard.


Featuring 144Hz refresh rate

ASUS has expanded its monitor lineup with another model that comes with a 24-inch TN panel with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Furthermore the monitor has adaptive-sync/Freesync technology on board. According to ASUS, the VG258Q monitor is supposed to be used in gaming environment.



Five ASUS B360 motherboards are coming too

In addition to the H370 motherboards, ASUS will add several Intel B360 boards as well. According to some rumors, we should see this motherboards during next month. One of the most interesting models is the STRIX B360-G Gaming, the company will offer a micro-ATX motherboard that sports a black and red color scheme.


Great design

According to a leak that has been published on Videocardz, ASUS is ready to launch a long list of motherboards based on the upcoming Intel H370, B360 and H310 chipsets. With the STRIX H370-F Gaming, the company will offer an ATX motherboard that sports a lot of features.


ROG STRIX series maybe

At the moment there is only one picture showing part of the layout of an alleged ROG STRIX X470 motherboard. Like the previous model the new one features a completely black color scheme with grey accents on the PCB. According to the first leaks, X470 motherboards appear to be very similar to the X370 models, however since GDC will start today we expect to see soon more pictures.


Featuring dual LGA3647 sockets

Following the launch of the WS X299 PRO another high-end motherboard is finally available. We are talking about the WS C621E SAGE motherboard, a high-end model compatible with Intel Xeon processors. On this motherboard you can install up to two Xeon Platinum 8180 processors.


Designed for workstations

A few months ago, ASUS has revealed the full specifications of its WS X299 Pro motherboard. This model belongs to the high-end series and it's recommended for Core i9 processors. Like the previous model base on Intel X99 chipset, the upcoming WS X299 Pro sports the company's highest-grade eletrical components. The motherboard is finally available on Geizhals.

ASUS has expanded its monitor lineup with a new model measuring 32-inch diagonally and featuring a 3840 x 2160 pixel IPS panel. Furthermore the ProArt PA32UC is the first 32-inch display compatible with HDR400 standard. According to ASUS, the new ProArt PA32UC professional is supposed to be used in the office environment.


Equipped with dual fan cooler

ASUS already has a wide portfolio when it comes to graphics cards but that didn't stop them from launching yet another two models. The new cards go by the name "Cerberus" and they deliver solid performance at a competitive price point.



With a MSRP of $429

ASUS revealed its headset based on the Windows Mixed Reality (WMR) VR platform with the HC102 headset. The HC102 WMR headset is designed for easy setup with a focus on ergonomics and comfort. At the moment the HC102 is compatible with over 20'000 Windows apps and more than 2'000 Steam VR games.
