With up maximum read/write of 260/240MB/s

Toshiba has announced that it has introduced the world's fastest microSD memory cards with UHS Speed Class 3 (U3), which will allow high-quality 4K video capture at constant minimum write speeds of 30MB/s and be available in 32 and 64GB capacities.


Enterprise class SAS HDDs

Toshiba has announced its newest member of the enterprise class hard disk drives, the new AL13SX series which will be available in 300, 450 and 600GB capacities, 2.5-inch form factor, SAS-2.0 interface and a couple of different versions depending on the actual usage scenario.


With 19nm NAND flash chips

Toshiba has now officially launched its new HG6 series of solid state drives which will be available in almost every current form-factor, capacities between 60GB and 512GB and using second-generation 19nm NAND flash memory.


As well as a few SSDs

Prior to 6TB capacity HDDs, Toshiba first have to launch the industry's first 5TB HDD on the 19th of February, at least judging by the press invite the company has sent out. On the same date Toshiba also plans to introduce a few new enterprise and consumer grade SSDs as well.


Renames it to OCZ Storage Solutions

Given the green light by the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware earlier this week, Toshiba has now announced that it has finalized the purchase of all assets of OCZ Technology Group, making it an owned subsidiary and Toshiba Group Company. In order to spice up and change some things, Toshiba has decided to rename the new subsidiary to OCZ Storage Solutions.


With up to 500GB of capacity

Toshiba has announced its newest addition to the solid state hybrid drive (SSHD) lineup, the 7mm MQ01ABF, which will be available in 500 and 320GB capacities.


Available in 128 to 512GB capacities

Toshiba has unveiled its new Q Series Pro SSDs that will be available in 128, 256 and 512GB capacities inside a standard 2.5-inch 7mm thick SSD case and available as a standalone SSD or in a so called Toshiba Q Kit.


2.5-inch SSHDs

Toshiba has announced two new SSHD that will feature a 2.5-inch 7mm thick form factor and be available in capacities of 320 and 500GB. The Toshiba MQ01ABFH series feature a standard HDD configuration paired up with 8GB of NAND that should provide significant performance improvement when compared to traditional HDDs, according to Toshiba.


Detachable tablet with keyboard dock

Toshiba has now officially announced and launched its Protege Z10t tablet/notebook hybrid aimed at business and office users. Based around a 11.6-inch detachable tablet, the new Protege Z10t features quite a decent specification list but also quite a hefty price tag.


Announces mass production

Toshiba has announced that it is ready for mass production of the second-generation NAND memory chips using 19nm manufacturing process.


Ships with cloud storage

Especially in the past year, Toshiba has been pushing it's hard drive business. Therefore it's no surprise that the manufacturer has quite a few external hard drives in it's portfolio. New they've announced an update of their Store.E-Canvio-Series hard drives and they're even going to release a 2 Terabyte model.


13.3-incher with 2560x1440 resolution

Toshiba has announced a new Ultrabook that will be based around a 13.3-inch 2560x1440 screen, Intel's 3rd-generation Core i5 or Core i7 CPU and fits in the premium class despite offering slightly less pixels than similar notebooks from Google or Apple.
