The New Ark 90 is based on the Genome project that Deepcool released a few years ago. Like the New Ark 90, the Genome was a chassis with an integrated AIO cooler. The Genome wasn't so perfect and the company has worked hard in order to offer a very good case. The result is pretty good and we believe that Deepcool has improved the chassis on several aspects making it almost perfect.

This model is well made in almost any aspect, no matter whether you're looking at it from a build quality, a ventilation or a layout point of view. First of all we want to mention that the steel as well as the tempered glass, that's been used for this case is of very good quality. The steel panel is very strong and nice to see and the finish is just perfect and we simply cannot find anything to criticize.

The looks of a case are always matter of individual taste but when checking out the interior, we believe this layout is as close to perfection as it gets. The LCS system has been installed on the side part of the chassis, leaving some room for additional fans or radiators on the front and top. The cooler itself works pretty good, the fans are on a good level and really like all the RGB accents. Since the case is compatible with E-ATX motherboards and the cooler can be installed on almost every socket, we believe that you can use this case for every kind of rig.

Like we have mentioned before, this case isn't perfect on every side. In our opinion there are some small details that might be improved. For example there isn't any dust filter installed on the front of the case and although there are vertical PCI slots you will not find any riser cable included in the delivery. In addition, although the case is pretty recent, it packs USB 3.0 ports instead USB 3.1 connectors.

The Deepcool New Ark 90 is available on Geizhals at a price of 301 euro excluding shipping costs. We believe that the price is more than okay. First of all you have to consider that the New Ark 90 comes with a custom version of the Captain 280mm AIO cooler. Remember that an AIO cooler at this level costs at least 120 Euro. Furthermore there are two (in total four with the cooler) RGB fans that usually cost at least 20 Euro each one. Last but not least, Deepcool has added several RGB accents and a tiny fan controller. In other words, even if the riser cable isn't included, we think that the price is fair.

We award the Deepcool New Ark 90 with 4 out of 5 stars.
