ADATA unveils new XPG Flame DDR4 modules and kits

For both desktops and notebooks

ADATA has announced its new line of XPG DDR4 memory modules and kits that will come in both DIMM and SO-DIMM versions, the ADATA XPG Flame DDR4 memory.

Featuring a new heatspreader with flame design, the new ADATA XGP Flame kits will be available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB kits, reaching frequencies of up to 3,000MHz for DIMM and 2,800MHz for SO-DIMM models.

All new XPG Flame DIMM modules will use a 10-layer 2oz copper PCB and need 1.2V to 1.35V, depending on the frequency and latencies.

This is also the first time that ADATA has extended its XPG lineup to notebooks, which will target gaming notebooks as well as SFF PCs. Running at frequencies ranging from 2,400MHz to 2,800MHz, these modules and kits will need 1.2V and have the same low profile and stylish heatspreader.

Unfortunately, ADATA did not reveal any information regarding the price or the availability date.
